Matthew Gray Gubler plays young genius FBI agent Dr. Spencer Reid on the hit tv show Criminal Minds (I am obsessed). While I was doing some research on him (code for stalking), I found that he has his own website and oh what a cute website indeed. Everything is handwritten and drawn (illustration shown above is a Gubler original), and painted. I like his style... Its one of the most endearing websites I've seen in awhile. Some other interesting information on him...used to intern with Wes Anderson (the guy that brought us Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums) and subsequently played a small role in Life Aquatic. Apparently he also just directed a video for the band The Killers for the track "Don't shoot me Santa". And like me, he thinks Buffalo 66 is one of the best films ever made.. I seriously don't think there's a cooler guy in Hollywood right now.

New Soundtrack

I just read an old blog of mine, dating back to February 2006, its been two years. Damn. New beginnings, New chapter, New Year, New Blog..

Jess just gave me a bunch of songs to download. I named the playlist Jess is Single. They're mostly songs she listened to when her and Carlo were broken up. Gettysburg is so sad. I don't know what it is, but it just makes me have goosebumps. Lately, I've been missing the past. Not in a sad way, just.. in a good way. A nostalgic way I guess. All the good times. We seem to not have that anymore. I hate getting older. I miss being a kid. I still am in many ways, just stuck in a 27 year old's body. I feel like I'm im a rut.

Speaking of 27, a bunch of us are whisking ourselves off to an island for my birthday. I think its apt. I just feel like waking up to slow wistful shit on my iPod, hanging out at the beach with good company and good times. Yeah... I think that's just what I need.
